Community Organizing Meets Civic Engagement:

From Advocacy to Action

Barrett Elementary School Multipurpose Room

4401 North Henderson Road

What

In keeping with our mission, the program will explore how community organizing is often a starting point for members of the Arlington community to participate in local civic and community activities that make Arlington a strong and vibrant community. This special program will highlight Latino activism. We will learn more about how to reach out to the Latino community and help attract new blood into our organization.

For this meeting we will be visiting Barrett Elementary School. Dinner will be catered by Guajillo.  We are reaching out to diverse communities and hope that the event will be a gateway for greater involvement in the Arlington Community and the Committee of 100.  Mark your calendar and join us. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria / multipurpose room.  Come in the main entrance and you will be directed to the cafeteria.
